Time Flies When You’re Having Fun

Posted on November 3, 2015

Time has flown since my last post here on the Fay Marcroft PR News page.

I’ve been so busy writing web copy, news stories and case studies for my clients, that I haven’t had chance to ‘practice what I preach’! It’s definitely time to put that right.

If you’ve met me at a networking event or attended one of my PR workshops in recent months, then you’ll be familiar with my mantra – No News is Bad News for Your Business. Keeping your News page or online Blog up-to-date plays a key role in search engine optimisation and helps drive visitors to your website.

Here’s a quick run down of some of the PR and copy writing projects that have kept me busy since my last post here on the News page:-

Copy writing and project management for two issues of company newsletter for industrial air handling firm DELTA NEU.

Started ongoing Media Relations programme for food coatings specialist Bowman Ingredients.

Presented ‘No News is Bad News’ workshop at three business networking events.

Copy writing for four ‘Dash of Limelight’ business profile features for G&T Women’s Network website.

Research and copy writing for two ‘Through The Lens’ online blog features for wedding photographer Tanya Lloyd.

Created two business case studies for The HR Dept Wilmslow and despatched both stories to local media.

Copy writing for ‘Peak Times’ email newsletter for Peak Translations.

Copy writing for brand new websites for Your Support Team Ltd, JTC Finance Services and Sixty7.

Presented ‘How to Handle Media Interviews’ training workshop at Bradford City Hall.

So what’s next? As well as ongoing media relations work for PR clients including Bowman Ingredients and Starfrost, I’ve got some exciting ad hoc copy writing projects in the pipeline over the coming months. Watch this space!
