Why ‘No News is Bad News’ For Business

Posted on May 12, 2015

I’m looking forward to delivering my first 4Sight presentation at the next 4Networking meeting in Macclesfield.

The 4Sight slot offers a great opportunity to step into the spotlight and present to attendees from the local business community.  It gives 4Networking members the chance to offer an insight into their specialist field or talk about an interesting area of their life.

My presentation will focus on why ‘No News is Bad News’ for business. I will be helping people to find their inner-newshound and inspiring them to spread the word.

What is ‘news’? What are the key ingredients to a perfect press release? What are journalists looking for? My presentation will aim to answer all these questions and many more.

4Networking is a well-established networking organisation for businesses across the UK. 4Networking currently has over 50,000 members, with 5,000 breakfast, lunch and evening events taking place every year.

The Macclesfield group meets every fortnight for a breakfast networking event in the town’s Heritage Centre. At our next event 4Networking members and guests will enjoy a tasty breakfast, lots of friendly networking, three 1-2-1 business meetings and a helpful 4Sight presentation – from me!
